Effective Supervision
Effective supervision is integral to creating environments that are safe and responsive to the needs of all children. It helps to protect children from potential harm and hazards that may arise in the early childcare setting. Effective supervision is one of the most important priorities as Educators are responsible to ensure that children are adequately supervised at all times. Effective supervision is not just watching children it is about looking at ways that promote effective supervision practices that require educators to engage with children while they continue to monitor and observe the children’s actions and activities.
