Explore forms of communication that are used within the early childhood service including effective communication, communicating in a positive way to children, families and staff.  Professional relationships with children families and staff ensure emotional wellbeing and a sense of belonging.  Educators have an active role in building professional relationships with others that are based on trust mutual respect, equity and fairness. Positive and respectful relationships promote a calm and relaxed atmosphere in the workplace where educators, families and children work together to achieve the same common goals.

This workshop is designed to support educators understanding in what is effective communication is and the forms that this can take. A focus is drawn on both workforce and individuals’ strategies that connect to staffing and leadership and management areas of the National Quality Standards. Professional relationships are part of and connected to team building, motivation and goals in the workplace and cultural attitudes within the workplace.

Price: $750.00 + GST for up to 15 participants (additional $50.00 + GST per participant) for 2 hour workshop.
