Does a VETiS qualification count towards my Senior Certificate?
Yes, the VET in Schools (VETiS) program is designed to contribute to your Senior Certificate. Contact your school to find out how many points/credits you will receive for completing a qualification under the VETiS program.
What happens when you finish school but not your training?
If you have completed only part of your qualification you will still receive partial points/credits towards your Senior Certificate.
At the end of your course you will receive a Statement of Attainment listing all the units you have completed. You can enrol in a qualification after school and use the Statement of Attainment for credit towards your new qualification.
How do I get started?
Speak to your parents, teacher and VETiS coordinator at your school to find out if your school has a third party agreement with ACCCO and if a VETiS qualification is a good pathway for you.
