Students can participate in a VETiS program delivered by a teacher at their school. The classes fit into the student’s school class schedule.

VETiS qualifications can be undertaken in years 10, 11 and 12, and can count towards their Senior Certificate of Education.

  • Have achieved at least a C standard in Year 10 English
  • It is a requirement of the qualifications that students obtain a Working with Children Check upon commencement of study

Schools must enter into an agreement with ACCCO detailing minimum student numbers, and how the VETiS program will work for their students.

Students will be required to attend placement at an appropriate, ACECQA approved workplace to practice their skills and knowledge, and to be assessed in a real world environment.

Some qualifications have a minimum number of hours that must be spent in a workplace to achieve competency.

Students can choose from any course listed in their school’s third party agreement with ACCCO. Typically the following courses are available.
